Women's Golf Firmly in Fifth Place Following 2 Rounds at the NCAC Championships

The Blue Streaks finished Round 1 and rolled through Round 2 on Saturday

VIENNA, Ohio – Rain prematurely suspended the first round on Friday, but the weather cooperated (enough) for the golfers on Saturday at the 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference Championships.

Snow flew to start as play resumed at 8 am, but Mother Nature didn't interfere other than freezing cold at beautiful Squaw Creek at Avalon Golf & Country Club in Vienna, Ohio.

Following two rounds, John Carroll Women's Golf stands firmly in fifth place with rounds of 348 and 340.

Kyah Huckleberry jotted down par on three of her final holes in the first round. The first year nabbed a 90 for her first 18. A fantastic birdie on No. 2, a Par 4 hole, began the second round on a nice note for the Ashland native. At the end of the day, the first year nabbed an 89 and ended in ?? place.

Meredith Thompson achieved par on back-to-back holes twice in the first round. The first year wrapped up the first round with an 88. Two straight pars on No. 6-7 highlighted her front nine of the second round. An amazing chip and putt on No. 18 concluded her day with an 89.

Hannah Prince tabbed nine-over-par on both the front and back nine for the first round. The first year carded a 90 to conclude her first 18, including par with a nice putt on No. 18. Two early pars on No. 2-3 got her going in Round 2. By hitting par on three of her final four holes, Prince registered an 89. She sits at ?? place.

Lauren Roof started off well, hitting par on five of the final six holes on the front nine to finish at 41 (+6).
