JCU Volleyball finished as the runners-up in the regular season and tournament

CLEVELAND – The preseason predictions are out for the North Coast Athletic Conference.

On Thursday, the NCAC released its annual preseason coaches' poll, which closely resembles the final standings from last season.

The Blue Streaks stand second in the poll with 55 total points, squarely behind Wittenberg University, as the Tigers swept all 8 first-place votes.

A year ago, the Blue Streaks finished second in the regular-season standings and lost in the NCAC title bout to Wittenberg.

John Carroll has a clear standing in second over third-place Denison (43 points). In 2025, JCU notched a 6-1 record in NCAC play to go with a 21-9 overall mark.

JCU is a veteran team with five seniors. All three All-NCAC honorees from last season (Natalie Glowe, Olivia Mogyordy, and Mary Kate Sheehan) return this season.

The campaign begins on Tuesday, September 1 in fun fashion with a home showdown against Baldwin Wallace University in the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center.
