John Carroll University Athletics

Provides one of the major storylines of the 2008-09 campaign as she returns to the John Carroll program after a two-year absence... Has elected her final year of athletic eligibility, which she initially gained through a medical redshirt when she missed all of the 2003-04 season following an automobile accident... Graduated from JCU in 2006 with a degree in exercise science and physical education... Currently is persuing her Master's Degree in education, and is expected to complete the program in May 2009... In 2005-06, Hubach averaged 9.3 points per game, second only to Shayla Bell on that year's team... Also was the team leader in rebounds, averaging 8.2 rpg... Her rebounding average was fifth highest in the OAC that season, and her 1.08 blocked shots per game was third best in the league... Started in all 25 games that season and earned an All-Ohio Athletic Conference Honorable Mention... Was also named OAC Player of the Week during the 2005-06 season... As an undergraduate, was a Dean's List student... After recieving her Master's Degree, would like to find a teaching job and coach... Carries a 3.9 GPA... Sister of former Blue Streak standout and current Magnificat High School head coach Meghann Hubach... Daughter of James and Mary Ellen Hubach
