Biography

One of four three-year letterwinners on this year's John Carroll roster ... Earned Academic All-OAC honorable mention status in 2007 ... In becoming one of the program's top defensive specialists, had a career-best season in terms of digs with a team-leading 395 ... Surpassed the 1,000 career digs mark in her final match of the 2007 campaign, recording 21 in an Ohio Athletic Conference tournament quarterfinal match at Mount Union (10/30/07) ... Had a career best 43 digs in a five-game win over Gettysburg (9/1/07) -- the most by a Blue Streak in 2007 ... Topped 20 digs eight times last year ... Her seven aces against Gettysburg was also the high-water mark by a Blue Streak in that category as well last season ... Appeared in a total of 85 games in 2006 in earning her second letter ... Finished 2006 with the third most digs on the Blue Streaks roster with 304 ... Posted double figure dig totals in 14 of the 25 matches in which she played, including three in which she tallied at least 20 … Appeared in all but one game as a freshman to earn her first varsity letter... Ended the campaign ranked second among all Streaks in digs with 304 ... Was also third in service aces with 29 ... Tallied a season- and career-high 17 kills against Widener (9/10/05) at the Ithaca Tournament ... Led Columbus Bishop Watterson High School to district titles in 2003, 2004 and 2005 ... As a senior,  was a team tri-captain, earned all-league accolades, and helped her team reach the state regional semifinals ... Political Science major with a Philosophy minor, carries a 3.58 grade point average ... Studied abroad in London, England, in conjunction with The Washington Center - London Internship Program ... Dean's List student at JCU ... Honors Program student and a member of both the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and the Chi Alpha Sigma (student-athlete) honor society ... Has law school among her postgraduate aspirations ... Daughter of John and Mary Anne Jackson.
