John Carroll's "breakout " player of the 2007 season ... Playing time more than doubled, going from 42 games as a freshman to 91 as a sophomore ... Finished the year second on the team in digs with 360 ... Tallied at least 20 digs on eight occasions, including a career best 29 in a loss to NAIA powerhouse Ohio Dominican (9/14/07) ... Had over 100 digs in her freshman year to pick up her first varsity letter ... The six service aces she produced against Thiel (10/14/06) was the most by a JCU player in 2006 … A four-year varsity starter, was a first team All-Conference and first team All-District IV player at Orrville High School.....Helped lead her team to two conference championships and was the MVP of her team as a senior … A Mathematics/Education double major, carrieds a 3.3 grade point average ... Member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority ... Daughter of Chris and Molly Mastroine.
