Cuyahoga Gold Bowl: 1994

Nov. 12 - Finnie Stadium

Final: JCU 9, B-W 0

Either Baldwin-Wallace would win the Ohio Athletic Conference crown outright, or there would be a three-way tie for the title at the conclusion of this battle along with Mount Union. Defense ruled the day, and it was only fitting a defensive play was the difference maker. The contest was a scoreless affair until the third quarter, when Damon Mintz picked off a Yellow Jacket pass and returned it to the five-yard line. From there, JCU running back Chad Rankin would sweep around the right side of his offensive line and score the only touchdown of the day.
