This was known as the "Monsoon Game", but the term monsoon can take on many meanings when applied to this one-sided contest. Just prior to kickoff, the skies opened up and a torrential downpour ensued that lasted well into the first quarter. Just after kickoff, Baldwin-Wallace's offense opened up following a JCU turnover on its opening drive and never let up. Tim Miller, a former quarterback, also got into the scoring act for the Yellow Jackets when he returned an interception for a touchdown.
