Head Coach

Coach Gambaccini is a 1992 Alumnus of Archbishop Hoban High School and a graduate of The University of Akron with a BA in Education.  He later earned a Masters Degree of Integrated Sciences from John Carroll University.  He has coached a wide range of High School sports for the past 17 years. From basketball to soccer and lacrosse, he has won 2 Division 1 State Championship Titles. His history with coaching Lacrosse began in 2000 when he spearheaded the start of the Lacrosse program at Archbishop Hoban High School and has continued through the years coaching both Boys and Girls programs.  He led Medina High School to their first final four appearance in 2009 and won the state championship in 2010.

Coach Gambaccini is in his second season as the Head Coach of the John Carroll University Women’s Lacrosse Team. In addition to coaching, Coach Gambaccini is employed by Medina City Schools where he is currently in his 12th year of teaching 7th Grade Science at A.I. Root Middle School. He is a devote Catholic and parishioner of St. Francis Xavier parish in Medina where he resides with his wife Kristin and their 5 children, Austin, Santo, Caroline, Nicoli and Matteo.
