Recorded 17 strikeouts in 25 innings ... Surrended only two earned runs in three innings while picking up his first of two wins on the season against Otterbein University (3/27).

2010
Made seven appearances and three starts on the mound during his sophomore season ... His best game came against Case on April 1, where in seven innings pitched he allowed no runs, four hits, and five strikeouts in a 13-3 win ... Also posted victories over Capital in a relief appearance in Florida (3/15) and in a league game in relief against Wilmington (5/9).

2009
Made nine appearances on the mound as a freshman ... In his only start, worked five innings and scattered four runs in a 10-4 victory over John Jay on March 6, 2009, in Port Charlotte, Florida ... Earned his first collegiate save in a 3-1 win over OAC rival Ohio Northern on April 11, 2009.

Was a four-year varsity letter winner at Garfield Heights (OH) Trinity High School ... Was first team All-North Coast League as a senior.
