Biography

Started every game for the Blue Streaks in 2011, and will look to pick up right where he left off following a fantastic 2012 season in center field.   

2012        
Started in center field in 38 of the 40 games for the Blue & Gold ... Eight multi-hit games ... Led the team with six multi-RBI games ... Compiled a .977 fielding percentage during the season ... Named to the Academic All-OAC team.

2011
Started in center field in all 39 games for the Blue Streaks ... He led all JCU players in stolen bases with 14 ... Had a multi-hit game thirteen times, and committed only one error the entire season. 

2010
Made 19 appearances with six starts ... Had nine hits and drove in five runs in limited duty for the Blue Streaks.

High School
As a standout for Pontiac (MI) Notre Dame Prep, made All-League three of his four years ... Made All-Catholic twice and All-District as a senior.

Academic & Personal
Majoring in Marketing at JCU ... Held an internship with Chrysler LLC for two years... Son of Joe and Sally Veltri.
