2016 Cross Country
At the Sudeck Sunset Classic Stampede, Oswald started the season with a 12th place finish in the 6k ... At the All-Ohio XC Championships, he placed 75th in a time of 26:41.9 in the 8k ... Finished in 50th at the OAC Championship.
2016 Outdoor
Oswald had a terrific outdoor season, obtaining three PR's in five races! ... At the first race at the Dave Labor Invite, he placed 3rd in the 3000m steeple chase ... The next week at the Mount Union - Homon Open, he ran his first 1500m, clocking in at 4:17.57 and placed 22nd ... He placed 6th in the 3000m steeple, running 9:49.15 at the All-Ohio DIII Outdoor T&F Championship ... Two weeks later at the OAC Championship, Oswald ran his best 3000m steeple in 9:48.77 and placed 6th ... To end the season, he ran his best 5k, placing 5th and finished in 15:25.03 at the 10th Annual Gator Invite.

2015 Cross Country
Oswald began the season well at the Sudeck Sundown Classic, improving by a minute 23 seconds from last year's race (20:06.6) placing 4th ... At the All Ohio XC Championship, he ran 26:08.8 and placed 110th in the 8k ... Then, at the OAC, Oswald finished in 18th place and had a time of 26:08 ... In the final race, at the Great Lakes Region XC Championship, Matt crossed the line in 27:19.7, placing 106th.
2015 Outdoor
Oswald ran four 3000m Steeple chases this season and one 5k ... His highest-placing steeple race came at the High Point VertKlasse, ranking 3rd with a time of 10:19.90 ... His best steeple came the next week at the DIII All-Ohio Outdoor T&F Championship, running 10:04.81 in 15th place ... At the final race of the season, he achieved the silver medal in the 5k, running 16:09.92 at the 10th Annual Gator Invite.Â
2014-15 Indoor
Oswald's first track season was dominated by the mile, 3k, and 5k in five race appearances... Â He got 15th in the Otterbein Invitational in the mile with a time of 4:41.48 ... At the SPIRE North Coast Indoor T&F Open, Oswald ran his first 3k in 9:10.69, placing 17th ... Later, at the 2015 Mid-February, Matt finished 6th in the 3000m ... He wrapped out the season with a personal best in the Kent State Tune-Up in the 5k, placing 25th in 16:16.52.

Made four starts as a sophomore ... 24th at OAC Championships with time of 28:07.44 ... Clocked in at 27:56.0 at the National Catholic Championship.
