2017 Outdoor
In the 2017 outdoor track season, Ross Martin finished strong. He recorded 3 of his 4 top-10's on the season in his last 3 events. At the OAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships he finish 6th in the 10000-meter run, which he finished in 32:49.90. At the last meet of the year at the BW Harrison Dillard Twilight, Martin was able to run 2 events and finish 7th in the 1500-meter run(4:19.02) and 4th in the 5000-meter run(15:53.86).
2017 Indoor
Martin was able to run his way to 3 career best times during the 2017 indoor track season. He was able to finish the one mile at the Mount Union Wuske Invitational in a time of 4:32.86, which by the way earned him a 4th place finish. While at the DIII All-Ohio Indoor Track & Field Championships, he was able to complete the 5000-meter run in 15:53.36. His last career best for the season was in the 3000-meter run at the OAC North Split Meet, his time of 9:17.83 made him an 8th place finisher.
2016 Cross Country
Placed eighth at the Sudeck Invitational (9/2/16) with a time of 20:17.0 ... Placed 107th in the All Ohio XC Championships, clocking in at 27:17.6 ... Ran a season best 8k time of 27:08.8 at the OAC Championship, crossing the line in 27th.
2016 Outdoor
Martin began the season with his best outdoor 5k, finishing 12th in 16:00.88 ... at the 47th Annual Sparky Adams Invite, he placed 7th in his 1500m debut, crossing the line in 4:16.75 ... The next week at the OAC Outdoor Championship, Martin ran his first 10k for the Streaks, finishing in 9th with a time of 33:11.38 ... He ended the season at the 11th Annual Gator Invitational with a 2nd place run in his second 10k.
2015-16 Indoor
Ran seven races in six meets this season, while also gaining four Personal Records! ... His first PR of the season came at the Joe Banks Invitational when he ran 9:19.76 in the 3k, which was good for 6th place ... The next week at the BW Mid-February meet, Martin raced across the line for 3rd place in the mile, while also gaining a 16 second PR (4:37.11) ... Also at the BW meet, he ran his first career 800 as a Blue Streak, finishing 14th in 2:08.17 ... The following week at the Kent State Tune Up, Ross smashed his 5k time by 44 seconds with a time of 15:49.81 for 25th place ... He would finish off the season with a 17th place finish in the 5k at the OAC Indoor Championship.
2015 Cross Country
In the opening race at the Sudeck Sundown Classic, Ross improved his 6k time from last year by 51 seconds, making it 21:11.5 ... Crossed the line in 27:13.1 at the All Ohio XC Championships ... Placed 52nd at the OAC Championship in a time of 27:20 ... Had another massive PR at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble, smashing his PR from last year by 2 minutes and 23 seconds (26:30)!!!
2015 Outdoor
In his four races this season, Martin only ran in the 5k ... He notched a personal best time at the Muskingum - Amy Adams Memorial meet in 16:31.09 ... Finished 5th in the 5k at the 10th Annual Gator Invitational.
2014-15 Indoor
Made five starts ... Best finish was 11th in the 5k at the OAC North Split Meet (16:51.25) ... Placed 12th in the 3k at the BW Mid-February Meet (9:44.74).
2014 Cross Country
Made five starts ... Clocked in at 29:04.82 at All-Ohio Championship ... Achieved a PR with a 28:57.3 time in the 8k at the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble ... Added a 29:56.77 at OAC Championship.
