John Carroll University Athletics

Wolfe is a long-time collegiate coach who joined the John Carroll staff before the 2011 season and assumed the mantle of head coach of the junior varsity team.

He has a coaching background that spans over 40 years. Prior to coming to John Carroll, his most recent stint was a three-year tenure as head coach at Hiram College. He also led successful football programs at Tiffin University, Elyria Catholic High School, Warren Harding High School, Trinity High School, and Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School. Wolfe has received numerous coaching honors in his career and is a member of the Tiffin University Hall of Fame and the Trinity High School Hall of Fame.

A native of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Education from Bowling Green State University and completed his Master’s degree at Ball State University. He and his wife, Karen, reside in Chagrin Falls and have two grown children.
