D.J. Debick

D.J. Debick is entering his second season as assistant wide receivers/recruiting assistant for the John Carroll Blue Streaks coaching staff.

As a player for John Carroll, Debick was a three-year letterwinner and led the Blue Streaks secondary in interceptions in two of his three years as a starter. Debick was elected captain for the 2012 season and was voted the team’s most valuable secondary player for both his junior and senior season.

The 2013 season saw Aramis Greenwood tie the single-season record for most receiving touchdowns. Additionally, Debick played a valuable role in the development of impact freshmen Marshall Howell and Brian Kornowski.

A native of Lyndhurst, Ohio, Debick attended Gilmour Academy, where he was a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter as a cornerback and safety for the Lancers. Debick led his team in interceptions, was an All-Ohio Honorable Mention, and was elected to the Northeastern Lakes All-District team.

Debick, who most recently interned with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the ticket sales department, graduated from John Carroll University in August of 2013 with a degree in Business Management.
