Patrick Conochan enters his second season as the offensive line coach for the Blue Streaks.
In the 2018 season, Conochan coached three offensive linemen to All-OAC accolades. Seniors Drew Turner, first team All-OAC, and Brian Dytko, second team All-OAC as well as sophomore Blake Heridden, honorable mention All-OAC were all major contributors to the offensive line. This group was ranked among the top 20 teams in Division III in sacks allowed and rushing offense, averaging 425 yards per game.
Prior to John Carroll University, Conochan served as the offensive line coach at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School (1997-2000), Benedictine High School (2001-2008, 2013-2016), and Lakewood St. Edward's (2009-2011).
Conochan is reuniting with head coach Rick Finotti (St. Ed's) and defensive coordinator/secondary coach Joe Schaffer (Benedictine) where he served as the offensive line coach on their respective staffs.
He graduated from West Virginia University in 1981 with a bachelor's degree.
