Spence enters his second year as the offensive intern on the JCU coaching staff in 2009. He will oversee the development of the quarterbacks, while also assisting in the strength and conditioning program.

A JCU graduate, Spence was a two-year varsity letterwinner from 2005-2006 for JCU at quarterback. He threw for 574 yards and two touchdowns over the course of his career.

Spence graduated in 2008 with a degree in Exercise Science. He will also assist in the strength and conditioning program.
