Member of a state championship football team at Benedictine High School, where he played for head coach Joe Schaefer ... Made seven tackles (four solo), including two tackles for losses, to help the Bengals defeat Kettering Archbishop Alter, 21-14, in the 2014 Division IV title game ...  The title was Benedictine's seventh OHSAA state football championship in school history and the first since 2004 ... Named second team all-conference as a senior ... Graduated Benedictine with a 3.0 GPA.
