This sophomore figures to be one of the centerpieces of JCU’s talented backfield in 2012 following a breakout freshman season.

2011
The freshman running back burst on the scene in his rookie season, finishing second on the squad in rushing with 440 yards … He found the end zone five times, including three at Ohio Northern (10/22/11) … Also added eight catches for 42 yards and a touchdown out of the backfield ... Was named the team’s Most Outstanding Offensive Newcomer for his performance in 2011.

High School
Was named The Desert Sun’s Friday Night Hero of the Year in 2009 and 2010 ... Recipient of 2010 Xavier Heart ‘n’ Soul Award ... Was named Citrus Belt Area “Athlete of the Year” at Xavier College Prep (CA) … Played for head coach Darrell Lewis ... Was a  2011 All-Conference performer in soccer ... 2009 and 2011 soccer team MVP ... 2009 team MVP in track ... Also played tennis ... 3.1 GPA in high school ... Member of Video Club, TOMS Club, and Art Club.
