John Carroll University Athletics

With a season at the Division III level and as a Blue Streak under his belt, is a big reason why the linebacking corps looks to be one of the strongest units on the 2010 JCU team.

2009
Last season, his first as a Blue Streak, had 10 solo tackles and 20 assisted tackles in his 10 games played…Best games in 2009 were back-to-back against Wilmington (10/3/09) and Marietta (10/10/09)…In those two contests, he had a combined two solo tackles and four assisted tackles.

2008
Played at Butler University where he was a member of the football team, but did not lose a year of eligibility due to a medical hardship.  

High School
Earned All Academic Honors for the Pioneer Football League… First team all-league as a senior at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School…  Was also a team captain and first team All-NE Ohio selection that year…. While at NDCL, was a National Honor Society student and a member of the wrestling team.

Academic & Personal
Major is exercise science at Carroll ... Owns a robust 3.68 grade point average  ... Son of Neil and Barb Brandt.
