In his first season of college football, played in nine games and amassed 11 receptions for 127 yards ... Top game in 2009 was against crosstown rival Baldwin-Wallace, where he hauled in three catches for a single-game best 43 yards.

High School
Local standout in the Cleveland area as a product of Lakewood St. Edward, where he was second team All-American and first team All-State ... Set the school record for the most receptions in a season ... Also a basketball star, helping the St. Edward team reach the 2007 Ohio Division I state semifinals ... Was offered over 60 football scholarships and was originally set to attend the University of Pittsburgh, but eventually would transfer to Cleveland State before arriving at JCU ... Member of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) in high school.
