Biography

One of the team's designated long snappers as well as coverage unit standouts, has lettered three times, and will look to see more time at linebacker in 2010.

2009
Last season, played in all ten games ...  Had two assisted tackles on the year ... Best game came against Capital (10/17), where he tallied his first tackle on the year. 

2008
Played in eight games in the 2008 season as a Blue Streak ... Amassed six tackles, and also had a key fumble recovery in JCU's Homecoming win over Heidelberg (9/27/08). 

2007
Saw action in seven games for the Blue Streaks during the 2007 season ... Picked up a varsity letter playing primarily on special teams. 

High School
Amassed 126 tackles, two interceptions, four fumble recoveries and a touchdown in being named to the All-Broward County Class 3A-1A first team defense at Archbishop McCarthy High School ... Also placed third in the state wrestling tournament at 160 pounds. 

Academics & Personal
Majoring in Communications at Carroll ... Works in sports information and has helped produce television events on Sports Time Ohio through S&S Productions ... Son of Scott and Lisa Whitworth.
