Conor Donelon just finished his sixth season for the late Rollie Massimino's staff at Keiser University.
During his six seasons with the Seahawks they won the Sun Conference Regular Season three times, Sun Conference Tournament Championship twice, and advanced to the NAIA Division II national tournament four times; along with a 2012 National Runner Up and 2016 Elite Eight appearance. Donelon's tutelage led Jonathan Dunn and RaShad James to becoming NAIA Division II National Player of the Year Winners along with helping guide over twenty Seahawks to playing in the professional ranks.In 2016-17 the Seahawks had four student athletes maintain a 4.0 gpa, including valedictorian Stefan Zecevic. The Seahawks beat both NCAA Division I Fordham University (Atlantic 10) and Drexel University (CAA).
Prior to joining the Seahawks, Coach Donelon served four years as a student assistant and three years as a graduate assistant at John Carroll under legendary coach Mike Moran.
In his seven years at JCU, the Blue Streaks won 70% of their games (141 wins), were five-time Ohio Atlantic Conference regular season champions, and made five trips to the NCAA division III tournament, including three sweet 16 appearances and a final four appearance in the 03-04 season.
Following his time at JCU, Coach Donelon worked as a volunteer assistant coach at University of Akron (NCAA DI) under head coach Keith Dambrot (former high school coach of LeBron James). During his only season at Akron, the Zips won 23 games, took home the Mid Atlantic Conference title, and earned an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
Donelon is a 2007 graduate of John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education. He also completed the teaching licensure program from John Carroll in 2009.
