John Carroll University Athletics

Brand is entering his first season as a member of the John Carroll coaching staff, following 16 years at the high school level

Brand, a 1998 alum of Charles F. Brush, went on to play collegiately at the University of Albany. With the Great Danes, he would go on to score 1,284 points and be named to the America East All-Conference Third Team in the 2001-02 season. 

Following his days at Albany, Brand played six professional seasons across Germany, Luxembourg, and Mexico before beginning his coaching career in 2009. 

Throughout his 16 years serving as a head coach at the high school basketball level, Coach Brand made stops at Cleveland Heights, his alma mater Brush, and most recently at Mayfield.
