Returning for her 11th season on the John Carroll track & field coaching staff is Kathy Hennessy-Glowe. She coaches the men and women's Jump events.

During her tenure as a coach at JCU, Glowe has guided two All-American athletes: high jumper Beth Grzybowski (2000, 2001 and 2003) and Gen Kahn in the long jump (2006). Grzybowski was also a National Champion in 2002. Six of her athletes earned 33 All-OAC Athlete honors while under her instruction and she has coached multiple national-qualifying athletes.

Glowe graduated from John Carroll in 1994 with a BS in Psychology. As an athlete, she was a four-year letterwinner in track & field, participating in high jump, triple jump, the 400 meter and 4x400 relay. She also played basketball for three years.

Upon graduating, Glowe came back to JCU (1995-1997) as a graduate assistant for the track and basketball teams. She then attended the graduate program, finishing in 2000 with a Master's degree in Education and in 2002 received her School Psychology Certificate.

Currently Glowe works as a school psychologist for Willoughby-Eastlake Schools. She is married to 1993 JCU alum, Brian Glowe, and together they have two children.
