David Sved, a 5-time All-OAC performer will remain with the program as an assistant coach for the 2014-15 season.
As a senior, Sved raced to runner-up honors in the 50-free. He also placed third in the 100-free and was part of the All-OAC 200- and 400-free relays. His fifth All-OAC honors came as part of the 800-free relay as a junior, a relay that captured second in the OAC.
Sved had a busy slate at the OAC championships as a senior taking fourth in the 800-free relay and fifth in the 200-medley relay in addition to his four All-OAC honors. As a junior, Sved was a point scored in the 800-free relay (second), 400-free relay (third), 400-medley relay (fourth), 200-free relay (fourth), 200-free (sixth), 100-free (seventh) and 50-free (eighth).
At St. Peters High School, Sved was an All-Team Ohio, a 2-time state qualifer and an all-state acdemic honoree.
He graduated with a degree in biochemistry from John Carroll where was was a member of the Merican Chemistry Society.
