Hailey Eckelberry is in her first year as an assistant softball coach at John Carroll in the 2025-26 academic year.
Eckelberry joined the staff after a 3-year stint as an assistant coach at Walsh Jesuit High School. During her time at Walsh Jesuit, the Warriors softball program reached new heights, being ranked in the top ten nationally and #1 in the OHSAA state polls.
Eckelberry played collegiately at the University of Akron. She was an all-state shortstop and outfielder at Cloverleaf High School, where she set school records for stolen bases and walks.
She graduated from Akron with a degree in Sports Science with a focus in coaching and nutrition. Eckelberry is a certified hitting, slapping, and fielding instructor.
