Fifth on the team with a .323 average while starting all 40 games ... Led the team with the most hit by pitch (8) and was second in slugging percentage (.474).

2011
Batted .279 while starting 37 games ... Was fourth on the team in on-base percentage (.395) and slugging percentage (.410).

2010
Made ten starts and 19 total appearances as a freshman ... Had a great ending to his first Florida trip against Juniata, when he went 2-2 with two doubles and two runs ... Scored two runs in a game on four occasions.

High School
All-Conference, All-Area, and the #1 Defensive Outfielder for the Prep Baseball Report Magazine Summer Showcase while at Lake Forest (IL) High School ... High school activities included student council, V.P. of Big Brother/Big Sister, Editor of school newspaper, and member of Athletic Code of Conduct Committee ... Gained notoriety for his project called "Play It Forward," where he worked with his brother and the White Sox Academy to collect used baseball equipment that would be distributed to Chicago city high schools.
