Chanel Murchison enters her second season as the women’s basketball assistant.
Murchison spent the last two years as the team's graduate assistant during an unprecedented run for John Carroll women's basketball. In the two seasons that Morrone and her staff have guided the fortunes of the team, the Blue Streaks have posted a record of 44-10. JCU has scored a pair of NCAA Division III Championship tournament appearances, and the 2013-14 team captured the program's first Ohio Athletic Conference crown when it won a share of the regular season title.
While playing for William & Mary, Murchison appeared in 88 games, logging 45 starts. She was also actively involved in the William & Mary Student Athletic Advisory Council and served as its president for the last academic year.
The Stafford, Va. native graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in May 2013 and completed her MBA at John Carroll.
