Emily Taylor '15, '20G enters her fourth season as a coach at John Carroll in 2025-26, her first since a stint at Division I.
Taylor assists in a part-time capacity while working full-time at JCU as an Academic Success Advisor. She began in this role in spring 2025.Â
Taylor previously served for three years as a graduate assistant for JCU Women's Basktball, highlighted by the 2019 OAC Tournament Championship, a program first.Â
In 2020, Taylor followed Kelly Morrone from JCU to Merrimack College, a Division I school in Massachusetts. Taylor helped elevate the Merrimack program for four years, including back-to-back NEC Tournament appearances in the last two years. That experience gave way to a one-year stint at Cleveland State University for the 2024-25 campaign.Â
Taylor played for the Blue and Gold from 2012-15. She was a key contributor to the programs first ever OAC regular season championship as a player in 2014 and led the Blue Streaks to back to back NCAA tournament appearances in 2014 and 2015. Taylor also ranks 13th in program history for assists and ninth all-time in three-point field goals made during her career.Â
