Rachel Dell

Rachel Dell begins her eighth season at the helm of the John Carroll Women's Lacrosse program in the 2021-2022 school year.

Hired as the program’s first head coach on May 25, 2013, Dell has made OAC Tournament appearances in each season of her tenure (except for COVID-shortened 2020). Dell steered the Blue Streaks to the program's first OAC Championship in 2021, capturing the regular season and tournament crowns. Under Dell's command, the Blue Streaks earned an automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Tournament, winning the program's first NCAA postseason game and advancing to the Sweet Sixteen.

Playing Career
  • 2000-03: St. Bonaventure University: Inaugural class for women’s lacrosse
Dell, who holds undergraduate degrees in French and English from St. Bonaventure University, completed her master's degree in Education from Elmira College in June 2007.

In addition to coaching, Dell is committed to the development of the sport in a number of ways, including as a leader at the OAC and IWLCA levels. She is also a 2012 NCAA Women's Coaches Academy graduate.
