Biography

A newcomer to the JCU program, Avery Tan will compete in the sprints for the Blue Streaks in 2012-13.

Attended Malone University, where she was a Dean's List student.

High School
Reached the state tournament in two events at Jackson (OH) High School, placing seventh in the 200 Freestyle Relay and eighth in the 400 Freestyle Relay ... Was named a first team All-Federal League swimmer ... Competed for head coaches Carole Davey and Kelli Ohman ... Graduated with a 4.0 GPA ... Involved in Spanish/Latin Club and Recycling Committee.
