Tyler Johnston enters his first season as an assistant coach in the 2022-23 academic year.
Johnston makes his collegiate coaching debut after previously serving as an athletic trainer at Chaminade University of Honolulu.
“When I found out Tyler was coming back to Cleveland, I knew I wanted him to be involved with our team,” said Hawald. “I’ve spent 22 years in college wrestling as an athlete or coach and Tyler stands out as one of the hardest workers I have seen. Work ethic and heart are contagious so I look forward to him positively influencing our team.”
