Tallied 24 wins in his freshman year and did so in stunning fashion with 11 wins coming by fall, including three in under 1:30 ... Had a season-best nine match win streak from 12/5-12/29, boosting his win total from 5-5 to 13-5 ... Finished third in the OAC in the 157 lb weight class.

Was a member of the Team National Champion in 2007 from Lakewood (OH) St. Edward High School ... Qualified for the Ohio state tournament in 2008 ... Graduated in the top-30 of his class with High Honors all four years ... Was a member of National Honor Society and a Student Ambassador.
