Turned in a 5-6 record as a rookie for John Carroll for the 2008-09 season ... Placed sixth at 2008 Florida Citrus Open at 141 pounds ... Represented the Blue Streaks at 157 pounds and produced a win in John Carroll's 24-14 OAC dual meet win over Baldwin-Wallace College  .

High School
Was a medalist at the AAU Disney Duals tournament ... Lettered all four years at Strongsville (OH) High School, and was a three-year starter in his weight class ... Was  active in the Math Club.
