Anthony Lang enters his first season as an assistant athletic trainer at JCU during the 2026-27 school year. He is an athletic trainer with the Cleveland Clinic.
At John Carroll, Lang primarily works with the football team.
Lang previously served as an Athletic Trainer for Novant Health Sports Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for three years. Lang served as the sole Athletic Trainer at Davie County High School to approximately 600 student athletes
including prevention, evaluation, treatment, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and/or illnesses. During the 2025-26 school year, he also taught Health Science in the school system.
During the 2022-23 school year, Lang worked as an Athletic Trainer for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, serving all high school and middle school athletes in the South Allegheny School District. He also worked as a Personal Trainer at Anytime Fitness in Brentwood, PA.
Lang is a double graduate from Clarion University of Pennsylvania earning his Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Fitness in May 2021 and his Master's in Athletic Training in May 2022. Lang played football for Clarion before becoming a Strength and Conditioning Intern in 2020.
