Natalie White scored the lone marker at 23:06 of the first half for Ohio Northern, as they continued their stranglehold atop the conference.
The Blue Streaks turned up their efforts in the second half as they made continuous attempts to net a goal, but to no avail as the Polar Bears defense stood tall.
Caitlyn Walton (Fairport, NY, Fairport) led the Streaks with six shots, three of which were on goal and five coming off of free kicks.
Carroll goal keeper Molly Gradowski (Bethesda, MD, Georgetown Visitation) made eight saves on the day while her counterpart Kristin DeWees made seven stops.
The Blue Streaks out-shot the Polar Bears 16-12 in the contest.
The loss drops the Streaks to 5-9-1 overall and 3-2-0 in the OAC, while Ohio Northern improves to 11-2-2 overall and 5-0-0 in the conference.
