Stanton Kochanek produced one of John Carroll's four wins in the Blue Streaks dual meet with Ohio Northern
John Carroll has many first and second place finishes Saturday afternoon, but in a dual meet setting did not have the depth to stay with Ohio Northern in a 186.5-113.5 loss in Ada.
Final Results
Eric Davis had a solid six-second win in the 200 Fly (2:06.38) as one of his two wins against the Polar Bears. He also won the 100 Fly in 54.80.
In 3-meter diving,
Stanton Kochanek claimed the top spot with a score of 222.80 points.
JCU also had a first place finish in the final event of the day, the 200 Free Relay. The quartet of Davis,
Drew Edson,
David Perchinske, and
Jimmy Ranallo touched the wall in 1:31.44. Perchinske had the fastest split in 22.41.
Of the Blue Streaks several second place efforts, Ranallo topped the chart by earning runner-up honors three times (1000 Free, 500 Free and 400 IM) and
Blake Pinchot was second twice (100 back, 200 Back).
