Even with 110 minutes at their disposal, the John Carroll Blue Streaks and the host mount Union Purple Raiders could not decide matters in an Ohio Athletic Conference men's soccer match-up that ended in a 0-0 tie Tuesday afternoon in Alliance, Ohio.

JCU had two dramatic chances in the extra sessions. Jake Milli (North Royalton, OH, Walsh Jesuit) had a shot deflect off the post in the 93rd minute, and a potential game winning goal with 12 seconds left was waved off on a controversial offsides call.
The two teams combined for 27 shots and 11 corner kicks, with Mount Union's Jon Critell making six saves for his shutout and Mike Telzrow (Cleveland, OH, Lutheran West) stopping four in his shutout bid.
JCU is now 6-4-3 overall and 0-1-1 in the OAC, while Mount Union moves to 7-4-1 and 0-1-1 in league play.
