Chad Ruehs and the Blue Streaks ran into some powerful teams on the final two days in Orlando

After posting some encouraging wins early in the trip, the John Carroll Blue Streaks encountered some very strong teams in their final two spring break matches to finish the week with a 2-3 record.
JCU fell to Martin Methodist of Tennessee, 9-0, on Thursday, before wrapping up their stay with a 7-2 loss to Webber International, the #16 ranked team in the NAIA, on Friday.
Michael Hulseman (Winnetka, IL, Loyola Academy) had a hand in both of John Carrolls points against Webber International. In his #6 singles match against Patricio Tilca, Hulseman won 6-3, 6-1. He then teamed with
Ross Venzke (Holland, OH, Toledo St. John's) to win at #3 doubles, 9-7.
John Carroll is now 3-5 on the season.
