James Steward won his 100th and 101st matches as a Blue Streak Sunday at Heidelberg

John Carroll's ninth win of the year was powered by the 100th win in the career of senior James Steward as his pair of wins helped the Streaks roll to a 9-0 triumph over Heidelberg Sunday afternoon at Baywinds Athletic Club in Sandusky, Ohio.
The doubles pairings of Matt Tomayko and Chad Ruehs at #1, Steward and Michael Finissi at #2 and Ross Venzke and Michael Hulseman at #3 won by a combined score of 24-5. The win by the #2 duo maked Steward's 100th win as a Blue Streak.
Steward would win his 101st match in singles play, topping Heidelberg's #1 player, Moody Al Turk, by a 6-0, 6-1 score.
Ruehs, Tomayko, Finissi , Venzke and Hulseman also won in straight sets.
JCU is now 9-8 on the season and 6-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
