Amy Marchlen and Ashley Bauer produced John Carroll's lone doubles win as they overpowered Tara Biedenbach and Courtney Adamsky, 8-3, in the #2 match.
In singles play, Marchlen became a two-time winner on the day by rolling past Mari Miki, 6-1, 6-0, in the #3 match. Reigning OAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week and #2 singles player Anna Navatsyk also prevailed by a 6-1 7-6 (8-6) score against Krissy Hallett.
Mount Union improved its record to 11-5 overall and 3-3 in league play, while John Carroll evened its marks to 5-5 and 3-3.
