John Carroll regained its confidence Thursday afternoon at Wooster. Just 48 hours after suffering setbacks at Mount Union, the Blue Streaks rebounded with back-to-back blankings of the College fo Wooster in Wooster, Ohio.
JCU won game one by a 10-0 count, then rolled to a 5-0 triumph in game two.

The Blue Streaks only recorded seven hits in the opener, but pushed across ten runs.
Angela Vistocco singled home two runs in the first, and
Erin Riccardi hit a grand slam in the second to build an early 6-0 lead.
Julie Marlowe scored two of John carroll's runs, becoming the first Blue Streak in program history to score 100 runs in a career.
Brittany Danilov went the distance and allowed just three hits while striking out nine.
Samantha Thompson would be the story of game two, limiting the host Fighting Scots to a single hit in the 5-0 win. The lone hit was a single to lead off the seventh.
All of John Carroll's offense came in the first two innings. Riccardi singled home one run in the first, as did Vistocco with a triple. The Blue Streaks added three unearned runs in the second to cap the scoring.
John Carroll is now 20-14 overall, while Wooster fell to 18-16.
