Maria Ciccolini was a two-time winner at Marietta, helping JCU move back over .500 for the season
With weather threatening on Saturday, John Carroll and Marietta agreed to move their match up a day to Friday.
Turns out the date switch was no problem for the Blue Streaks, who rollwd to a 9-0 win over the host Pioneers.

After sweeping the doubles by a combined score of 24-3, the singles players also rolled. The top three of Maria Ciccolini, Anna Navatsyk and Amy Marchlen dropped a combined two games.
The matches were closer in the lowe rhalf of the line-up. Ashley Bauer needed a tiebreaker to win at #4 singles, 2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-4) over Kristina Reed. Emily Gorndt won 6-2 6-4 at #5 singles, and Allison Mora prevailed 6-1 6-4 at #6.
John Carroll is now 6-5 overall and 4-3 in the OAC.
