For the fourth time in five matches, the John Carroll women's tennis team posted a 9-0 victory. The victim Wednesday was Heidelberg University.

The three doubles tandems were all victorious. Maria Ciccolini (Green, OH, Green High School) and Anna Navatsyk (Chardon, OH, Chardon) at #1 won by an 8-1 count, while the #3 duo of Emily Gorndt (Haddonfield, NJ, Haddonfield) and Deanna Bouchahine (Cleveland, OH, Normandy) rolled to an 8-2 win.
The closest match was at #2, whereAmy Marchlen (Pittsburgh, PA, Mt. Lebanon) and Ashley Bauer (Harrison City, PA, Penn Trafford) improved to 6-0 as a team with an 8-6 victory.
Of the six singles matches, three were whitewashes, as Navatsyk (#2), Marchlen (#3) and Gorndt (#6) did not drop a single game.
John Carroll is now 7-5 overall and 5-3 (T-4th) in the OAC. Heidelberg slips to 4-11 and 2-6.
