Freshman Victoria Watson picked up a win in her first career swim meet at Johnson Natatorium
The John Carroll women's swimming & diving team lost the first five events of the night and never could make up the ground in falling by a 125-98 count in its home opener against Mount Union Friday night at Johnson Natatorium.

Victoria Watson and
Julia Adams accounted for two of JCU's four victories on the night. Watson won the 100 Free in 55.75, while Adams cruised to a win in the 200 Back with a time of 2:18.87.
Unopposed Danielle Ketterer picked up first place points on the 1- and 3-meter boards for the other two wins.
The Blue Streaks slipped to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the OAC.
