John Carroll ran into a red-hot Hiram Terriers team in non-conference volleyball action Wednesday night
Consider John Carroll as a victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The wrong place was Hiram, the wrong time was tonight.
The host Terriers, who have been on a serious roll as of late, struck early and often in a sweep of the Blue Streaks, 25-11, 25-22, 25-18.
Box Score (coming soon)
With the win, the Terriers have won their last 10 matches and are now 11-4 overall. Hiram has also won 30 consecutive games without dropping a set dating back to a 3-1 win over St. Vincent on September 9.
Melanie Rodriguez picked up 17 digs tonight to pace the Blue Streaks, who fell to 8-6 overall for the season. With her output tonight, Rodriguez surpassed 1,000 for her career.
