The John Carroll men's swimming team hosted two Ohio Athletic Conference teams Saturday afternoon, defeating Defiance 157-11 but dropping a 102-101 decision to Wilmington College in front of a large crowd at the Johnson Natatorium.

The Blue Streaks won several individual races and the final relay, but would still fall short to the Quakers by a single point.
David Sved took home gold in the 50 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Freestyle with times of 22.28 and 49.35, respectively.
Drew Edson won an important 200 Yard Freestyle race with a time of 1:50.08, while also finishing second in the 100 Freestyle (49.80).
Freshman
Jacob Crain also took home first place in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:09.95, and Michael Goggins was victorious in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a 5:09.67 time.

Zach Morris won the final race of the afternoon, the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, with a time of 1:33.00, beating Wilmington by .18 of a second.
Next up for the Blue Streaks is a quad meet against Cleveland State, Notre Dame College and Canisius College on Tuesday December 4, at 3:00 p.m.
