John Carroll used its depth in the lower brackets to roll to a 6-3 victory over Capital Saturday afternoon in Ohio Athletic Conference men's tennis action.

Although Capital nicked JCU with some wins at #1 doubles and well as #2 and #3 singles, it was a strong effort by the less heralded players on the roster that made the difference.
The #2 doubles tandem of Paul Oexa and Ryan Lullaney as well as the #3 duo of Michael hulseman and Pete Scanniello prevailed by identical 8-3 scores.
In singles play, Mullaney at #1, Hulseman at #4 and
Eric Grimaldi at #6 all won in straight sets. Scanniello used a thir-set tiebreaker to complete a come-from-behind win at #5 singles.
The victory pushes John Carroll's record to 4=8 overall and 2-1 in the OAC.
