Katelyn Hill fought hard for her #6 singles win to put the finishing touches on the regular season for the Blue Streaks
John Carroll put an exclamation mark on its women's tennis regular season with an 8-1 victory over Heidelberg University Saturday afternoon at the Paramount Tennis Club in Medina, Ohio.

The win was the Blue Streaks' seventh consecutive after a 5-3 start, and leaves JCU with a record of 12-3 overall and 7-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. By virtue of posting wins in seven of their eight league matches, the Streaks will be the #2 seed in next week's conference postseason tournament.
Today's win was a complete team effort, with eight different players chiming in with a victory.
The doubles session provided three wins for John Carroll, with
Hannah Baumwell and
Erin Davies posting the lone shutout in the #3 match.
The Streaks then rolled to wins in five of the six singles matches.
