John Carroll had nine event victories in a Cleveland Dual Meet Tournament showdown with the College of Wooster
John Carroll wrapped up its run in the Cleveland Dual Meet Swimming Tournament with a 357-217 loss to the College of Wooster Saturday at the William H. Johnson Natatorium.
In the men's competition, it was a relatively close battle with Wooster prevailing 166-126. In the women's head-to-head battle, the Fighting Scots were the victorious, 191-91.
Results
Ben Parker won three times for John Carroll, taking the grueling 1650 free (17:33.33), the 500 Free (5:04.98) and the 400 IM (4:28.34).
Nick Holvey won the 100 Free (49.17) and was part of the triumphant 400 Free Relay quartet along with
David Sved,
Pat McLaughlin and
John Scantling.
Lindsey Fano on the women's side was a multiple winner, taking first in the 100 Breast (1:11.18) and 200 Breast (2:33.91). So was Tori Watson, who won the 50 Free (26.43) and 100 Free (57.87).
Both the JCU women and men are 1-4 on the season.
